HIS EARLY LIFE
Mr. Mangesh Deshmukh, born on June 13, 1983, in Thane, Maharashtra, at present resides at Karjat, Raigad District of Maha- rashtra. Growing up in a non-legal background, he observed the lack of legal knowledge within his own family and village, com- pelling him to embark on a path to become the first lawyer in his family. The realization that law is most important and with- out its people cannot live or die ignited his passion for law, leading him to pursue a Bachelor’s in Law (LLB). His academic journey extended beyond LLB, encompassing a deeper understanding of rural law. He recognized the pivotal role law plays in ensuring justice, especially in rural areas where access to legal aid is limit- ed. His commitment to bringing justice to those who lacked legal support motivated him to clear the Bar Council of Maharashtra from Goa in 2008. Commencing his legal practice in 2011, he focused on criminal justice and civil mauers, driven by a genuine interest in these fields. His journey reflects a trans- formative commitment to leveraging legal expertise for the benefit of the com- munity. His story begins with a sincere aspiration to bridge the gap between jus- tice and the underserved, making a lasting impact in the realm of law.
HIS JOURNEY
He embarked on his journey with a resolute commitment to education and societal service. Originating from a village where the legal profession was not a familial legacy, his early education set the foundation for his inspiring journey. It began with a Bachelors with a specialization in economics from the College of Culture, reflecting his innate curiosity and interest for knowledge.
The transition to a Bachelors in Law (L.L.B) from Baba Saheb Ambedkar Colege, Mumbai University, marked a pivotal moment in his life. This decision not only aligned with his interest in legal affairs but also signified a departure from the conventional trajectory dictated by his familial background. Driven by a passion for societal change, he furthered his legal acumen by undertaking a Diploma in Labour Law and Labour Welfare from the same institution. This dual focus on law and social welfare laid the groundwork for his future endeavors. Aſter completing his initial legal education, he entered the professional realm by joining a central organization. It was here that his colleagues recognized his potential as a legal professional. Encouraged by their support and fueled by a desire to contribute more profoundly to the legal domain, he embarked on a journey of higher education and skill acquisition. He pursued a Master’s in Social Work fromTilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune. This academic pursuit was a testament to his commitment to overall development and his belief in the power of social work as an example for positive change. Recognizing the evolving landscape, he delved into cyber law through postgraduate studies. This foresightedness reflected his adaptability and recognition of the changing dynamics in the legal field.His educational journey also saw him earn a
Government Diploma in Cooperative Auditor (GDP), showcasing his versatility and a keen interest in cooperative practices and governance. Over the subsequent decade, he has continued to conduct numerous sessions, reaching out to more than 21,000 individuals.

WORK WITH NGO
